<p>I love the beach, my uncle was the chief of the police department of puerto vallarta mexico so i used to go there all the time because he could get us free hotels free restaurant meals and such (i'm from guadalajara about 4 hours from PV)</p>
<p>so it would be nice to live near the beach and remember the good old days</p>
<p>I'm 25, and waiting on my admission to UCSD. I'm from Oregon, but I married into San Diego, and right now I'm physically in Juneau, Alaska.</p>
<p>I'm really hoping for admission to UCSD, because it's one of three schools I'd be absolutely 100% happy to go to. Once I get notice from UCSD I can stop waiting on SC and Davis, and settle in for Berkeley and Stanford.</p>
<p>I am really happy that i got into UCSD (At Eleanor Roosevelt College)... if this is the best that it gets
(meaning if LA and Cal don't take me) then, to San Diego I go! </p>
<p>I'm super conflicted though about the transfer event, my best friend is graduating from college in new york on the 10th and I really wanted to be there, but i also wanted to make it to UCSD. bah... </p>

<p>I love so cal, and any excuse to drive down there is good enough for me.. haha so that's mainly why i'm going to transfer day.</p>
<p>i've been on one of those tours that the campus gives, when my brother first went to UCSD (he's 25 now, so it's been awhile). it is a pretty dull and generalizing tour. if you can help it, have a UCSD native take you around. of course, it only really works if you've got friends there.</p>
<p>i put Muir as my #1. my ex goes to warren, so despite it being the easiest college to transfer to, i'd avoid it at all costs, lol.</p>
<p>I'm 19 and recently got accepted into Warren college. Hands down i would attend SD over LA and Berkeley if my mama didn't live 20 minutes from campus... I'm thinking of attending admit day even though i kinda already know the lay out and what not... I say we CC it up!</p>
<p>yeaaa i got accepted to UCSD and i am hoppy that i did. However, the sad thing is that I am in revelle college. Is there anyway for me to transfer out of that college to another like john muir maybe?</p>
<p>i'm still waiting for my decision from UCSD. i have tons of friends down there so i hope getting acquainted with the surrounds won't be an issue for me. this was how i ranked the school based on what my friends have told me about their GEs marshall, muir, warren, sixth, revelle, and roosevelt. just out of curiosity, UCSD will be having their Sun God festival on May 16-17, that's a week after transfer admit day. anyone planning on attending?</p>

<p>when is sun god festival? sounds great i'd much rather drive down for sun god than for transfer day, i've done enough research about the campus and i've been on a tour as well, it was a student who guided the tour and he was very helpful.</p>
<p>I'm 18, old, and in for Revelle. I can't quite put a finger on it, but I always feel so old at UCSD. Everyone looks/sounds so young there. Anyways, that's a welcome change.</p>
<p>SunGod is a huge, amazing party at SD that runs on May 16 to May 17 (most likely for the students, a few days before and a few days afterwards). this is a party supported by UCSD. You have to pay (must know a friend there) and get a bracelet. There are bands, drinking, other stuff <em>ahem</em>, then... more drinking. It's pretty much the only time that UCSD really cuts loose and goes at it.</p>

<p>Sun God is hella fun..I went last year and T.I performed and Third eye blind. People just drink all day..This year Sean Kingston is performing and some other rock band not sure who though..Ill find out, Highly recommend going..</p>
