I would love to go to the Sun God, but I don't know anyone in UCSD.

I would think you could just go to where you buy tickets, and ask a student? Maybe not.
I live really close, so I may try that.

is UCSD going to offer student housing for transfer students or do we have to apartment hunting?

Seems like we have to look for our own apartments.

Anyone wanna room up with me if I plan to go there?

If you don't smoke.

cigarettes that is

yeah i needa roomate too, i don't care if he smokes as long as he doesn't do it int he apartment.
i want a roomate who doesnt mind drinkking.. not looking for an alcoholic either just someone who doesn't mind some safe weekend drinking

man, orozcosg you're like exactly what I'm looing for in a roomate. Hope I don't end up with someone I'm completely at odds with.

Any type of roommate(s) is fine with me, as long as they are considerate and clean.

hey everyone,

my name is angela, i'm 21 and i'm 75% sure that i'm transferring to this school in the fall (muir college/sociology). I, too, am also worried about the off campus housing/roommate finding situation. I would like a roommate who is clean and considerate and also enjoys going out and having fun. Partying, drinking, and smoking (cigarettes & other) are fine as long as it's not done in excess.

too much to ask? i hope not!

@ all these people saying they're 21 and feel old. Your not. I'm gonna be transferring into Muir College and I'm 29 lol (but I look like I'm19).

Anyways, I'm also needing a roommate. I'm doing the whole roommates.com thing right now, but if anyone out there is in the same boat, lemme know. I'm planning on moving early though, around June 1st.

edit: here's my roomster profile so you know I'm not a serial killer...
Roommates search service, roommates finder, roommates wanted.

I'm going to UCSD too. I'm a Sociology major too. Forgot which college I'm in though; it's the really community based one.

Goin' down around early June to check out some listings I've been looking at. I've narrowed down the search to two areas around UCSD that are far enough away where I won't get f'ed on rent, and still close enough that I won't be dependent upon a car.

Rent isn't all that bad for a 1 bedroom apt. (or a studio). It's comparable to what I'm paying now for a 1 bedroom.

hi guys, i get in to Roosevelt,
i got into UCSD as my alternative major, Math Scientific Computation, yet i m not really interested in that major at all, my main major is Computer engineering, yet i missed 2 physics classes and 1 math class to be accepted to Jacob School of Engineering for my major, so do you know how hard it is to change major internally at UCSD, should i go there for alternative major and then change major later, or reapply next year? can i change my major during the UCSD Admits days? Thanks a lot.

(PS: i posted this like 3 times already, and didnt get any answers :( )

Is the major you're trying to change into impacted? My gut says you probably won't be able to if it is impacted.

I'm 21, I got into Eleanor Roosevelt College (Lit/Writing major) and am about 85% sure I'm going to UCSD. Unless my appeal to Berkeley actually goes through. Also looking for roommates..

See y'all Saturday
-Camille

my main major is Computer engineering, which is impacted for transfer students, but i dont know if it s easier to change your major internally at UCSD

no, its not impacted for transfer students. It's impacted for everyone.
