I think I am an anomally. I got accepted yesterday as a math major with a 3.06 gpa. o:
I got accepted on 6/3/2015 as a transfer student.
Major: Physics
GPA: 3.47
I have some questions for you guys. When I call admission office, one lady said they accept waitlist by GPA rather than major. But if by GPA is top reason, I think I should be admited with 3.5 UC GPA for Econ major. Do you guys think Econ major not come out yet or she give me wrong reason? I could be consider as international student.
@gointergrals I’m an international student, and I have 3.9 GPA for CS major from SoCal Community College … and still hear nothing from waitlist. So what would be the reason for me? lol
But I’m still waiting. Don’t over it until it’s over. Even tho I have been working on UCI stuffs recently, but I will still be waiting for UCSD, which is my dream school.

@gointergrals Oh hey! I didn’t know you are also an international student! Do you think that’s why we still hear nothing from them? Did you admit to any other school already?
@phatfat I also do not know why we are still nothing hear back. If ucsd not work for me, I might choose UW-Seattle instead. BUT look like they were starting to release OOS offer last Friday. I think we will be good, if we do not lose hope.
