<p>i got into winter for UCSD as an international economics major but i still have to do Calc 1 2 3 in order to take upper divison classes and do the language requirement and i was thinking about switching my major to communications, do they offer intro to communications in winter? i am not sure how this will work, i am really starting to stress over this</p>
<p>Is it possible to still take classes at the local SD community colleges while being a student at UCSD? I don’t mean during the summer, I’m talking about fall, winter, and/or spring.</p>
<p>I haven’t read anything that says no, but they only talk about taking outside classes during summer.</p>
<p>So i just submitted my SIR to SD. and my residency status says pending??? and something about how I might or have to send in some additional information?? what? i’m confused. my parents didnt claim me as a dependent… does that matter? i don’t need financial aid…</p>

<p>Has anyone gotten any information regarding orientation? specifically for warren transfer admits? I’ve seen information for some of the other colleges and some have orientations in July, yet when logged into the newstudent site it says that the warren orientation site will be up February 23 and to goto the warren college site for more information but it seems as if nothing is updated from spring transfers? That and the only link in the new admits part is for freshman…</p>

<p>I just got my UCSD email account. (transfer for fall09 -economics) I thought we were able to choose our own? They just generated one for me. A few intials and numbers after it. eg. <a href=“mailto:abc123@ucsd.edu”>abc123@ucsd.edu</a>…I was sorta hoping to use a different alias… one without numbers…</p>

<p>ucsd generates everyones emails. if you have a common name, they throw numbers in there :</p>

<p>I know. However, whenever I try to look it up, it says there’s no email for my PID. I was just wondering if anybody else hadn’t been assigned one yet.</p>
