ucsd/uci/ucd/ucsb chances?

Hi!
So Im applying to the uc’s and I’m pretty worried. My counselor said UCSB, UCI, and UCD would be matches according to my hs’s scattergram( basically its a graph with gpa/sat/act) and I fall right by the average. She said UCSD (my dream school :P) was a high match pretty much a 50/50 shot (once again based on the scattergram). Could you guys tell me my chances?
UC capped- 3.82 UC uncapped- 4.1 i think? (i have taken 7 AP’s 10-11, 10 AP’s including senior year, its so low cuz i have A’s and B’s, but I have a lot of B’s TT, i do have a slight upward trend if that helps at all
ACT 31 (eh, its not too great T
T)
AP’s- passed all but chem, i took it the year the curriculum changed so my teacher had no idea what was going on, and got fired the next year for having such a low pass rate T_T

My personal statements I have been told are pretty solid, one is about me overcoming the challenge of being right handed, but playing tennis left handed, the other is about indian classical music

Also! I am a california resident! and my ethnicity is Asian Indian, if that factors into admission in any way

Oh I totally forgot to mention I wanna major in bio or biochem!

The UCs, especially San Diego, are pretty competitive. Irvine would be the easiest to get into, Davis/Santa Barbara you could probably also get into, but San Diego could be a bit harder. If your essays wow the admissions officers, that could help a lot. You have a chance at all of these. Good lucj!

ok thank you!!

Your counselor’s advice is right. UCSB/UCI/UCD look like Match schools. UCSD is a High Match so I also give you a 50/50 chance.

Good Luck.

I see, thank you!
