UCSD undeclared or UMd CS?

I am an international student so the tuition is really the same
Is UMd’s CS program almost the same as UCSD’s CS program?
It seems impossible to get into CSE at UCSD…

You got into UMd CS directly and not in UCSD? Then go to UMd if you have to do CS.

@Just4Years yes… also I am waitlisted at UCLA…
it seems like CS is not even an impacted major at UMd

East coast discount I guess :). But I think UMd is a quality school with a decent engineering/CS program. I’d SIR there and wait for UCLA. I am not sure if you can get into CS directly off WL at UCLA though (and it’s not easy to transfer there too). Good luck.
