What are your stats like? Personally, I would go with UCSD because of its reputation and the fact that it’s a UC. Also, what are you looking for in a college?
Cost difference?
Thanks so much.
Just what i know about both univeristy is cost differences, CSULB is cheaper than UCSD.
But i can’t choose the school just because cheaper.
I am concerned about school life.
As a transfer student, i am worried about adapt quickly or well to the new school system.
Quater vs. Semester?
Also, After college which degree will have better influence and more job influence??
Thank you
For a teaching degree, going to a lower cost school with a good reputation like CSULB will be better in the long run since starting teacher salaries are not very high. Also where you go for Undergrad will not make a difference to a prospective employer. Semester system much easier to adapt to more quickly than the quarter system.
I agree with @gumbymom - as a future teacher, cost should be a big factor in your decision. LB is a very good school and will have plenty of credibility with credential programs and employers, especially in CA.
Also, quality of life at LB for transfers is better. It’s a busy university with lots of activities (pre-professional and social). It is a good school with a good reputation for employer job fairs.
