This is the thread to help ppl who got rejected by UCLA and UCB but having a hard time deciding to go to UCSD or UCI or UCSB econ.... Share your thoughts on that.... :) Which one would be the best choice?

*** I am one of them***I know we all are sad because we were being rejected by the better schools but you know, we have to move on with our lives... Be Strong!!!! Keep it up!!! We can show our abilities whenever we are ready again in the future... We still have hopes to apply UCB and UCLA (or may be more prestigious schools) for our MBA. Think positive... ;)

WEll ia m still pending in UCLA but i have been rejected at berkeley and since UCLAs rejection is only days/hours away, iwill go ahead and join in on the fun.

I would pick UCSD because it has one of the top programs in the nation, apparently in some rankings its even above UCLA>

I dont know much about UCI or UCSB, however i do like UCSB biz econ major more... but i can not afford UCSB... so thats also why i would choose UCSD

huh? is UCSB more expensive than UCSD? i thought they all are the same....

no i meant living expenses

Living expensive's don't fluctuate by thousands, by hundreds yes, rent is going to be within 50-100 a month.

UCSD's Graduate Econ Program is higher than UCLA, but then again that's grad not undergrad. I'd rather be at UCI/UCSB so you could do the Accounting minor.

For straight econ, UCSD is the best of those three.

For what you're looking for, beats me.
