UCSD vs UCLA for psychology to neuroscience

Okay, I got accepted into UCSD and UCLA for an undergraduate psychology major, but recently I've realized I'm more interested in neuroscience. My question is, which school is better for switching over. UCSD offers a BS in psychology, where as UCLA only offers a BA...but UCLA has such a selective psych department that it makes me not want to give this oppurtunity up. However, am i totally screwing my future chance of geting into neuroscience if I stick with a BA in pyschology? HELP!

Also, I know that UCSD offers a neuroscience emphasis for psychology majors, does anyone know if UCLA offers anything of this sort?

No, you are not hurting your chances to do graduate work in Neuroscience at all if you major in Psychology. Psychology is one of the majors they look for in Neuroscience graduate programs. However, Psychology is much easier than anything in the Biological Sciences so Neuroscience graduate programs will expect you to have a higher gpa majoring in Psychology than any other student who majors in a hard Science or mathematics like Biology or Chemistry.
