UCSD VS UCLA Pre Med track

<p>I got accepted to both UCSD and UCLA. I have always wanted to go to UCSD because of the location and because I heard that the overall atmosphere is much more laid back then UCLA. However, UCLA has more prestige and my family wants me to go there. Im really torn between both. As a student im a decent worker but dont really have a competitive mind set. I want to study somewhere where I can worry more about learning than trying to crush other people. I grew up in LA so SD would be a new environment for me but UCLA is much closer to home. Im not really into the party scene. I would be a premed human bio major at both colleges. I want to be a dermatologist. Soo, in your opinion would UCLA or UCSD be a better choice in terms of preparing me for med school?</p>
