Is UCSD or UCSB better in terms of Engineering, as well as opportunities for doing startup as an undergrad? I’m aware of the fact that regarding academics, UCSB is better at Physics whereas UCSD is better at Engineering. But how about the overall tech startup atmospheres in the two schools? Thanks!
UCSB and UCSD are universities first and foremost so academics are what is important. You will probably not find many resources in regards to help you get a startup going?? but plenty of startups in the UCSD and San Diego/Carmel Valley area in which to possibly intern or work after graduating.
