This year I got in to UIUC, UCSD, UCD and UW Seattle for psychology major. (UW Seattle - pre-sciences). As I prefer western area, I narrowed down my college to UW and UCSD. But I can’t choose one of them because both are my primary, high ranked school and have great pschology program. As an internationnal, each college’s life style , future opportunities and study environment are quite important. Actually I m leaning towards UW now, but still confusing. (Both of them are expensive for out-of-state so I dont care much about tution and expenses…). I appreciate any opinions and hope to get great advices.
Psychology at the University of Washington is a selective competitive admission major:

https://www.washington.edu/uaa/advising/academic-planning/majors-and-minors/list-of-undergraduate-majors/
It is not listed as a capped or selective major at UCSD:

You’ll be able to get into UCSD’s psych program easily, while it’ll take some more effort at UW. The international community at SD is huge, and the school is very studious but also located in beautiful, sunny La Jolla right by San Diego and close enough to LA. It’s strongly worth considering UCSD.
Thanks for great advice! But I forgot to mention that I have a high school senior in UW while nobody in UCSD…Anyway, the info about UCSD was helpful!
