Isn’t there something about adding a 7th new college, so more room? Maybe it’s some complications with that…but I gave up already

This is the biggest waste of time. They better accept everyone of the waitlist!
Ikr? The only reason I can think of is that they are trying to accept as many as possible off the waitlist. Otherwise, this would just be really messed up.
I called them today and they said they’re for sure not done with the waitlist. I asked if we might find out sometime this week and she said they don’t know.
I called them a few times in last few weeks, but they always say, " there is nothing to do in this point. We don’t know…" 
Hopefully this Friday some applicants get accepted
I also went on reddit to ask if anyone got off recently and people said their friends were still waiting! But I second that hopefully some of us will get off this Friday
July 12th, and we’re at levels of pure hysteria with UCSD. smh.
I have a feeling they’re done. Last wave was almost a month ago and we haven’t heard anything since then. It’s just freaking annoying.
I believe they are done as well since some of the colleges had due dates to confirm for orientation and most of them where maxed out and it is mandatory.

Same here, I think there is no more chance. There are only two more weeks and that’s it. No more acceptance.
I don’t even know why I am waitlisted with a major gpa of 4 and a total of 3.93 total. I have met all their minimum requirements. They don’t even tell you why you are not accepted.
Universities should have clear policies and criteria. They should provide more details and use functional ways to handle applications. Anytime you call ucsd and ask them anything, they just don’t know. Nobody is responsible and they really don’t care at all.

I’ve been a lurker on this thread for awhile now, but thought I’d share this with you guys. I emailed UCSD admissions about CS decisions yesterday and they responded “For students who have opted into the waitlist, please be advised that UC San Diego does not know at this time whether we will even go to the waitlist.” Losing hope now 
That looks like a automatic generic answer. They already went through the waitlist. I don’t think there will be any more acceptances though.
Why not just reject us all right away instead of making us wait and torture us?
Do you guys really think there’s only been two waitlist acceptance waves? Bc I was back on reddit and it looked like people who heard so far were from the 7th and 18th of last month, same goes on college confidential too unless anyone out there has an update maybe?
