Hi guys I was accepted off the waitlist on June 6th and received my admittance packet in the mail today for those of you waiting
@UniCoIn Congratulations!
At this point UCSD should already have a clear idea of the applicants and open positions since UCLA and Berkeley are done admitting from waitlist. I honestly have no idea why it’s taking them so long to give us a decision. CS applicant here and even if I get admitted, at this point it’s super hard to find housing and move from LA.
Has anyone on the waitlist heard back in the past week?
no, I am still waiting.
still waiting as well
I have a feeling there must be another wave coming this week. Most probably today and tomorrow. Fingers crossed ? Hopefully we all get in
So many cs still waiting. I think they havent released cs yet. The one person who said he got off for cs was probably a freshman or something.
@KeepItCool No, she was a transfer cs student.
I called admissions and was told to wait. Did u guys call admissions by any chance?
International Politics. Still on waitlist
@UCSD123XYZ So you called them and they said that they weren’t done with waitlist decisions?
@plzletmein123 Yeah, they told me they’re still working on it and I need to wait.
@UCSD123XYZ Did they state a date for when the decisions will be posted?
@OwiUso No they didn’t
Anyone got updated this week? I feel like we should write them an email ask when would the final decision come out. Tbh I don’t expect I can get accepted now but I still wanna know if I get rejected.
Still waiting here!
To any lurkers if anyone of you got off this week please tell us if you did it would really help! Also fingers crossed for the rest of us!
It’s already July 6. Community colleges start fall semester on July 19, but we haven’t got any update on ucsd applications. If they will not accept people, they should at least let us know soon. Or if they are going to accept people, they should do it as soon as possible so if students who get off the waitlist won’t transfer to ucsd, the admission office can offer those available rooms to other applicants. However, if they don’t do it soon, they will waste available rooms since there won’t be any offers after July 30.
If the rest were rejects, they would already reject us. Im sure they are just trying to make more room. Why else would they make us wait this long?
All the accepted transfer applicants had to accept their offers by June 1. After that anyone who gets an offer has only 5 days to make a decision. Therefore, by now, the admission office should know how many available rooms there are. Honestly I don’t know why they don’t release the final decisions.
