Is anyone still on the waitlist or is it just me? Also, do you guys think there’s going to be one last wave of acceptance?

I was reading last year’s waitlist thread. It seems like on May 31st, the message saying that admission decisions would be posted no later than June 1st, was removed. People were accepted as late as June 12. And finally, they were rejected early July. Do you just think this will happen to us this year? 
Probably tbh. It is a pretty standard procedure, especially if they are taking people off the waitlist in general.
Has anyone got in for business or political science? I think those are my to intended majors, is there anyway to check?
*edit: just realized I put computer science because I thought the major choice didn’t matter. I think I’m going to cry my self to sleep. Goodnight :’(

This is a problem because I didn’t do well in my precal course at my school, most of my grades came from science based courses. More tears :’(
@HyeKye the major you select does not affect admission to UCSD, only to that major. If you qualify for UCSD but not CSE they may admit you as undeclared
@DoctorP even for waitlist?
@HyeKye Yes, it’s even more likely that CSE waitlistees will be admitted as undeclared if accepted

I think they could only accept that many UD. So your chance would be greater if you put non-impacted major as one of the choices. Business or political science would have much better chance than CS or CS detoured UD.
@hyekye i’m still waiting whenever i log in it still says waitlist confirmation which is confusing because the june 1st is still there
same. that’s really annoying considering they say “no later than June 1” butttt… here we are on June 3 and I still haven’t heard

LOL most schools say June 1, but they generally continue until July 1
@Just4Years That’s what I did! Haha I put Neurobio and physiology as primary major, and psychology as secondary major and got admitted to the latter under Revelle. Also, if you are someone that has taken a lot of AP courses, don’t worry about what college you go to! Currently, I have one less course than Muir requires for all students (as I am in Revelle), even though Muir has the least Gen Ed Requirements. Just go for it!
If you are on waitlist as CS or engineering and have listed only highly impacted majors, at this point, you will most likely be admitted undeclared
Did any waitlist admits receive admit packets?
@iaafil I’m just going to wait. at this point I’ve kind of accepted that I’m not going there because I SIRed at UCI where I got my major of choice so I’m trying to get excited to go there
