I really want to make a decision soon, but can't decide between UD and Binghamton. Everyone tells me they can see me at either school, but I feel like I would feel more comfortable at UD. I know both schools are well-respected, but I feel like Bing is better academically. Money is not a huge issue. I will have no debt coming out of Bing (since my dad is really pushing for that), but I will have about $20,000 in debt after UD with my $7500/yr scholarship and my dads contribution towards tuition.

I received a 1950 on my SAT and will be graduating high school with a 96.6 average. I know Bing is better academically however I do not think Bing absolutely blows away UD academic wise. I do want to go to a good school in order to achieve my maximum potential for job opportunities after graduation. I know Bing has a 3 & 2 program to receive your masters degree in 5 years. I definitely want to get at least my masters and eventually my MBA. I'm not sure so someone correct me if I am wrong, but I do believe you have to eventually be admitted to the School Of Management (which I am not in) in order to receive a "Financial Economics" degree from Bing. I know the school of management's admission is very competitive and I'm not exactly sure if I'll be able to get in to it. I don't believe UD has a 5 year program to receive your masters so I would have to get one upon the finish of my undergraduate years. I don't mean to diminish UD's academic excellence, but I don't want to feel as though I didn't reach my full potential academically if I chose UD over Bing.

I'm not the type of person who just wants to party or who just wants to study all the time either. I want to have a good balance between the two, but I know that grades are more important. I like UD because the campus is beautiful, it appears to have a vibrant social life, and an awesome college town. Bings campus and the surrounding area seems very dull and depressing. Only thing that keeps holding me back is Bing's reputation.

I sort of went through this process already with high school. I went to a catholic high school at first and absolutely hated it. I did homework and studied all day long everyday. Because I was so miserable I left and returned to my public high school. At my public high school I still received good grades without having to work as hard, although I still continued to work hard. And at the same time I played and became captain of 3 sports and became very involved in the school through clubs including student government. Had I stayed in the catholic school I definitely would not have been as involved. Right now, I am so glad I decided to transfer back to my public school because these past 3 and a half years here have been amazing. I just don't want to make the same mistake with college. I want to go somewhere that I will be happy for all 4 years without having to worry about transferring and all that nonsense. Someone please offer your opinions to help me decide!!!
