Hotels in New York are outrageous. So if you are a youngter traveling on your own, you at least should consider a hostel.</p>
<p>I recommend the Roosevelt. It's on the 34th and Madison (which for you that don't know is mid-Manhattan, super close to the famous shops of 5th Ave and Broadway). The rooms were nice and classy and we found a really good deal on it from hotels.com. Check it out.</p>
