Visiting NYU and finding the right hotel... today.

Hey everyone! i'm visiting NYU this weekend (very very last minute, I know) and I need to figure out a hotel to stay at. My mom and I would like to be close to NYU so that we can get the feel of the neighborhood. The most important thing for us is comfort, so all different price ranges are acceptable. Thanks everyone!

holiday inn looks nice and its really close. you should probably book soon, the close ones might be full

There are very few hotels in Greenwich Village so you will have to try SoHo, the Union Square/Madison Square Park area, Gramercy park or Chelsea to get within walking distance. Here is a link from NYU’s website with a list of hotels they recommend: Hotels

Actually, if you are willing to take the subway you can stay just about anywhere in Manhattan and be within a 10-15 minute subway ride. Have fun!

Okay, well we found one. I have no idea if it’s good or not, so we’ll see! haha thanks everyone!

if price is not a factor, you can room at the W on union square. It is a couple of blocks away from where many freshmans dorm
