hey, i got into udel and penn state and wanna do somethin health related...(doctor, nurse, etc.) not sure what specifically. Which school would help me more to go to? i also got GT for Cornell and could possibly switch as a sophmore...not sure?

GT to Cornell is a waste really - I know sooo many kids at Delaware that got it but they just loved Delaware so much that they decided to stay there. They didn't want to leave their friends and their school after two years to start anew.

That said, if you want sports got to PSU, if you want a smaller academic environment where it feels more like a private school (2/3's out of state students), then UDelaware is probably a better bet.

yeah thats sorta what i was thinking, it would really suck to switch. But does Udel/PSU have good programs in the health sciences? thats my biggest concern...i love sports but not sure i can handle 50,000 people...maybe i could...not sure

Not sure about PSU, but UD has an excellent reputation for nursing and physical therapy. Can't tell you specifics as science really isn't my area, but to the best of my knowledge those are two of the most competitive courses of study at the school.

Delaware is VERY well-known for Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. The DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) program is #4 in the USA.

right...thats def a plus about delaware. That means that i could take a lot of science courses anyway to satisfy requirements for nursing/doctor or whatever else i decide, or for grad school. okay i think delaware seems like the best best

Delaware science courses are quite challenging but there is a lot of support there for students who are taking demanding courses (Upper Division Sciences etc).
