Congrats to everyone else who has received the email! :)

Got the email too in CT

I applied to the Engineering school so it’s possible that the scholarship letter may be associated with that department. My stats are ACT 32, SAT 1400, 4.3 weighted GPA.

I also got the email/letter
and i was wondering if they were telling us to apply for a scholarship, or if they were telling us we were going to be considered for one. Because if you have to apply, i am a little confused as to where we would go about doing that.

Ageorge…read the letter again…they are informing you that you are being considered for a scholarship…not promising you that you will be getting one…and if you have any new accomplishments to add to your admissions application, to email them, that might enhance your scholarship possibility…good luck.

The email address is on the letter.

My daughter received that email last year. I called and asked about other acceptances and merit aid. The guy I spoke to said include anything that i imagined they might be interested in when awarding merit… including other offers. She responded with a couple new activities that she was involved in and the list of acceptances and all offers. D was accepted into the honors program a couple of weeks later and got merit equal to her highest offer. Because the other school was more expensive to begin with, the ud merit represented a higher percentage of total cost compared to the more expensive school. Interestingly enough, d had already pretty much ruled out that school. Anyway, the moral to the story is, this is a negotiation. Treat it as such. We did, and I was genuinely shocked and delighted at the amount of merit money that we were able to secure.

So if you didn’t get a letter, does that mean you are not getting a scholarship at all?
