I have been accepted to the University of Delaware and am very excited.
I was wondering if it is a good school to attend with a premed major..

I was also wondering about the student/campus life..
any thoughts?

To BEU12: From what I remember when we looked for my son, they have special advisors when it comes to reccommending pre-med students to medical schools. He decided not to go pre-med at this point (maybe engineering), but he is in the honor’s program and is extremely happy at Delaware! He went in undecided to the University Studies program, and the counseling has been excellent in helping hiim plan his schedule. He was literally able to take courses in four different disciplines to help him see where his career interests really lie.
The standards for entry to Delaware are getting higher each year (as they are at all schools), so i believe coming out of UD will look good to medical schools (especially if you are able to be in the Honor’s Program). Good luck with your search.
