Thank you aviator18. It feels scary now. Do you guys have the feeling of knowing “yeah I can definitely get into that university”, and then you have the “I’ll try but I think that’s a far reach”? For me, I don’t know why, but it’s like UF is neither. Ever since I heard of the almost random way they choose people, it’s like I don’t know what’s going to happen. Are any of you guys feeling this way?

I would be shocked if I did not get in. However, I am experiencing typical nervousness.

Smile93, I feel the exact same way!! I had the typical nerves, but I was very confident that I would be accepted to UCF (which I was) but UF is so diverse in their admittance. I’ve known IB kids with 4.5 GPAs who didn’t get in while students with 1150s on the SATS did. It’s making me nervous! But one week from today and we’ll already have our answers, IT’S GETTING SO CLOSE!

I know! it’s nerve wrecking:/ But it will be 4 days and when Monday comes the week will fly by. I’m nervous but at the same time I’m like this is exciting lol. I really hope I get accepted,if I do, for summer: I would love to start then:)

Are there any preferred terms you guys would like to start in?

I would like to start in the fall, but if they admit me for summer I’ll definitely go. Why do you want to start in summer?

I want to start in the summer because of many reasons. Starting in the summer basically gives you a few advantages.
- you go during a calm time when you can soak up the campus and take everything in without a rush.
- you get to learn the campus, and not be confused as to where you’re going. for example the incoming freshman coming in during the fall.
3)for me, i only need a couple of more classes so that I am a sophomore when the fall semester starts - I just want to go off to college early:)

Less than a week until the decision! I am excited. I’ll be the server will crash and we’ll all have to wait.

5 days people. 5 days

I wish it was here already mangofan. Oh how i wish… I created this thread about 3 weeks ago. And look we survived two weeks and a bit more:) The day we have been waiting for is almost here everyone!

Just toured this week. I think I’m the only person to visit a college a week before the decision for that school comes out… Haha

Friday at 6, come quicker!

Thats cool jcold9, don’t worry your probably not the only person. If I could i definitely would go visit again too… what are you guys going to do on friday to pass time away? Are some of you having school? I heard some people would not be having school on that day. Fortunately, I have school. If i didn’t I would probably go crazy sitting there for hours waiting lol.

Im so happy I have school on Friday too! I went to the basketball game yesterday and kept thinking that the next sporting event I go to, I might be in the student section :)

I applied to UF as my safety… I keep thinking what I’d do if I don’t get accepted…

Don’t focus on the negative zapadniyRus. But i understand the realtiy of it all. If UF is your saftey I’m sure you’ll get in to the top choice schools you applied too:) If you don’t, I give you the best of luck of getting in to UF:) Just think “I’ll get in, I’ll get in” I hope I helped atleast a little bit.

:) Thanks! You’ll get in too! Even if i do get into one my my top choice schools, low price of UF will probably be too attractive to pass up :)

Go UF engineering!

Engineerjw… I’m hoping to go engineering/pre-med! :)

Yes the price is everything, as much as i want to go to an out of state school, the instate prices are sooo much better. And I want to do pre-vet!

Unfortunately, price is everything…

My dreams of going out-of-state were more than likely slashed after filling out FAFSA.
