UF admission decision soon!

I know mine were too. They wouldnt give me anything:/ all i could get was a loan. And no one wants a loan, having those can get you into debt early. And not only that, but paying back is something i don’t want to think about as a freshman in college.

4 days and 18 hours and 44 minutes

Ahhh ufucfbound, it feels like forever from now! lol. that extra 18 hours and 44 minutes makes it sound longer than it is:) If we don’t count friday, since that’s the big day. It’s only three days:), monday will fly by. But that’s just me, i want it to get here as fast as possible.

Once again good luck everyone!!

I have friday off. So I’m going to stay up all night thursday and go to bed around 8 a.mish and so I don’t have to be nervous all day and wake up an hour before admissions decisions.

Very smart idea metalmeatwad. I would def do that. I’ll probably come from school and just take a quick nap. So by the time I wake up it def. Should be time:)

OMG I can’t believe Friday is almost here guys! Just wanted to stop by to wish all of you good luck. I hope we all can get in.

Let’s hope this week flies by!

I never get tired of visiting UF. This past weekend, my family attended the 2nd Annual UF Sailing Team Alumni Regatta at Lake Wauburg. Son competed in the regatta, and he finished in 2nd place; loads of fun for everyone. Now he is anxiously counting down the time (4D:9H:7M) to notification. Good luck to all who truly want to be part of the Gator Nation.

Me too ssmarty, and thanks for the countdown wolfootbal1:) and biscaynebaydad thanks for the luck! I’m sure most of us who are constantly on this thread, want to be part of the nation truly. Monday is almost done guys…almost lol.

Omg decisions are up early!

In my dream yesterday.

^ LOL. A couple weeks ago I logged onto the UF site and then accidentally clicked on “Admitted students” on the side, so “Congratulations on your acceptance!” came up and I freaked out. Obviously the logical part of my brain knew it wasn’t actually my acceptance two or three weeks early, but there was still a part of me about to scream for a few seconds.

MetalMeatwad, that was cruel!!! :stuck_out_tongue: But only 4 more days and it really is here! I log in every morning though…just in case. I’m just trying to keep myself as distracted as possible until Friday night, if I did nothing but think about it I’ll go nuts. Best of luck everyone!!

Good luck to everyone!

Is it really true that UF only has 3% from out of state? That seems hard to believe.

My D applied…no one she will get in with those stats… :-(

yeah only 3% is out of state. im from NY so im pretty nervous

good luck norules! We will cross our fingers…

How many people applied from everyones school?

Not too sure about that. I think about 30 people from my school applied. (350 in class)

Good luck kdos and norules031! and ufucfbound idk how many applied to my school, many people are preferring to stay home this year. It seems like my class has more people who want to do that or leave the state. Many people came from other states before high school, and their wishing to return home. But I know there probably is a decent percentage whom applied. Some have great stats, other are in between, and others are not so great. I hope a great amount of us, who truly want to get accepted do, because some of the kids who have applied to UF, are just applying. They really want to go somewhere else. Some have even gotten accepted to their dream school, with a full scholarship. So hopefully if those kids decide to not go, people who applied after the deadline will be able to get a spot and become a gator! :)

I’m also going through the OOS panic. Good luck to the rest of you trying to head down to sunny Florida. =)
