It would suck if they told you after may 1st

I know. I mean some people already got their decisions back. I just don’t know why mine is taking FOREVER. It just drives me crazy. Ugh. I hope it’s not a bad sign…

All possible mailing disasters aside, I sort of see that as a good sign. I mean, I received my rejection back on the deadline exactly (April 13th), so I knew that it was a bad sign.

I would give them a call.

So has anyone heard back today?

I just got a call from them today to ask me some questions about my appeal but they didnt say when a decision would be made.

Any luck yet?

Good for you for getting a call back, I hope it works out for you. Keep us posted whether you heard yea or nay or nothing.

I thought I noted in other threads that people continued to be accepted well into October or November for UF, but perhaps those are filling slots that open up as last minute cancelations occur?? I dunno, seems hard to find out that sort of information without a lot of culling.

I am trying to glean info as to why the colleges would say they are first come first served in responding and then not get back to people in that order… but times are changing so fast perhaps no news may be GREAT News.

I also wonder if since the May 1 deadline and LOWER acceptances and lower applications at Universities in 2013 will mean that UF might continue to mull over appeals throughout the year since there are now several options to start later (in the spring with Innovations) and summer school.

I will read through all these answers to see how late people are actually hearing back from UF appeals and try to keep you posted. Keep us all posted.
