I was recently rejected from the UF Honors program when I replied for regular decision. On the other threads that discussed lateral admissions for UF, people said that you need a 4.0 GPA and get involved in the university community. What exactly does this mean? How many clubs or organizations should I do? Is there anyone who got in through lateral admissions? If so what did you do? Getting in is super important to me and I want to do everything just right.

A 4.0 GPA isn’t required, but since it’s competitive, it would help. The 52% is higher than regular admissions, which was around 32%. You’ll have to go to an information session in September; at that meeting they will answer all of your questions.

Good Luck!
