<p>They need to take the whole damned directory off. I personally know people that have been stalked via that directory. I’m talking phone calls and waiting outside their dorm.</p>
<p>Well, if it makes you feel any better, I was the one who detected this breach and was part of the movement to make the new phonebook require student queries to only be detected by authenticated users and to hide personal information such as address and phone (which was normally published by default.) If anyone is really concerned about his privacy, he can unpublish everything through the my.ufl.edu portal and make a request to put a privacy hold on everything through the registrar’s office.</p>
