ufff repeated math question !!!

in a certain sequence each term after the first is 3 less twice the previous term. the 5th term of the sequence is 17. what is the sum of the 4th and 6th term?

Is it 41??

the 4th term would be 17 + 3 divided by 2 which would give 10.
the 6th term would be twice 17 which is 34 then minus 3. which would give 31.
the sum would be 41

Yup, it’s 41.
