I’m going into my junior year of UG and am double majoring in french and international studies with a minor in environmental science. I am able to do all of these in 4 years because of the overlap between courses, and also because I came into college a semester ahead due to AP credits. However I’ve only been taking 12-13 credits each semester because I work part-time to pay for school (I’m a manager at a café on campus), and I have ADHD, so between working and my disability taking more credits than that would take a serious toll on my grades. I guess my question is, will law school admissions officers see me as lazy? Can I explain my low courseload somewhere in my application or will that seem like I’m making excuses?
Honestly they don’t look at that part. If it keeps your GPA higher, then do it. They only see GPA and LSAT score.
No one will care.
Just keep up your grades.
btw: working your way thru college can be attractive to some adcoms.
