I am in the process of applying to UGA. I am applying out of state (TN) and am inquiring about scholarships other than academic. I’m applying RD because while my scores/GPA are above ‘average’, I don’t feel like they are high enough to guarantee admittance or receive as much scholarship as I would like. So, I’m wanting that holistic review. I would love if some fellow out of state students could share their insight into this process or just general advice?
- Are there regional scholarships for the Chattanooga area?
- Are the departmental scholarships offered to incoming freshmen? (I'm wanting to major in fashion merchandising which is in The College of Family and Consumer Sciences)
- Will I receive in-state tuition after being a student for two years? I've heard of students purchasing a P.O box in order to have a Georgia address?
- When do you typically hear back about RD and scholarships?
