Hi! I applied for the Foundation Fellowship Scholarship in the fall and I was wondering when applicants will start hearing back. I was not accepted to honors auto-admit but I was hoping that it is still possible for me to receive the scholarship. Stats: 1500 SAT 4.0 UW GPA
FF interview invites come out in Jan and interview weekend is in Feb.
Yes I heard this back via email from someone in Honors office: All applicants will be notified by mid-January (via the UGA Admissions MyStatus page) about whether or not they are invited to interview for the Foundation Fellowship.

We got Classic (not classic city), half differential. Stats 1510 sat, 4.0UW, 9-11 APs. I wonder if they factor in alum connection and state/region as prior poster mentioned Classic City with different stats.
Does anyone know if they “upgrade” scholarships later? Any chance at all that our Classic would be upgraded to Classic City in a later wave? It was nice to see, but unfortunately UGA still out of reach compared to others unless we get in-state.
I wouldn’t be surprised if state is considered, as it is not uncommon for colleges to want to advertise having students from every state.
Did anyone receive the famous UGA socks yet for admitted students? I thought David Graves mentioned mid-to-late December.

Does UGA have Accepted/Admitted Students Days for those who got accepted to visit campus in the spring before they make a decision? Could you share those dates? If my D gets in, I want to make sure we plan for enough in advance to check it out. Many thanks!

Last year they had them later in the spring. My daughter went on one in April. I forget if there were any earlier, that was just when we were able to get there. I would assume they would have them again this year.

Question about scholarship offer email, what was the title of the email? My son got an email today from OSFA titled " 2022-2023 UGA Estimated Award", is that it or just financial aid info?
We got that a day or two ago. Just FA, not merit scholarship.

Yep, we got that one as well. My son had high stats and got EA acceptance early on, but no scholarship offer. UGA was 3rd or 4th on his list, so it’ll drop off now.
So if we got the FA letter and it has no merit included, should we assume we aren’t getting anything? Or are there still merit awards being handed out?
