UGA vs CU Boulder: Which one for a major in Finance and minor in Statistics?

My college decision has come down to UGA and UCB, which are both in-state for me. I’ve also been accepted to Saint Mary’s of California (OOS, with a decent scholarship) and the University of Denver (private, with a merit scholarship, but still a lot of loans to take out). I’m also waitlisted for Fordham @ Rose Hill, but don’t plan on going there because it’s not for me (I hate New York).

I want to become a financial analyst or something similar, maybe taking on investment banking and management later on. After graduation, I’ll probably be living in Colorado, working for a few years, and then will go back to get my MS in Business Analytics or MBA (not sure yet).

I’ve checked Forbes, Start Class, basically all of the business school rankings you could check, and all of them agree that Terry ranks higher than Leeds. But assuming that the majority of the statistics used in this chart are Business Administration & Management, how would a degree in Finance stack up? I’m mainly talking about the rigor and academics of the programs at each school and the opportunities after graduation.

I’d really like opinions from someone who went to either of these schools, or knows someone who has, because I don’t trust online rankings at this point. Thanks.
