I am considering these two schools. I have high enough scores and grades to get significant scholarship money from both so money isnt an issue. I am wondering however, which school offers the best Pre-Med program. Also which school will I have the best chance of making a 4.0 at? How are the professors at each respective school and please feel free to leave any extra recommendations or advice. Thank you!!

I doubt anyone other than UGA/UA alumni/current students could answer these questions. They’re both huge flagship state universities in the south so I imagine the differences are relatively subtle.

If UA is Alabama, then I can tell you that Bama has dedicated Pre-med advisors. They do write Committee Letters and do Mock Interviews.

The Director, Chris Hutt, really keeps the kids abreast of opportunities and meetings. anyone can add themselves to the ListServ and get the notifications.

Neither school will be easy to get a 4.0 in…but that’s true for any good school as a pre-med student.
