ugh... i forgot to send in my sat ii's. i fail.

i thought i had sent in my scores in mid-january, but evidently i DIDN'T! so i just have my act in at rice (32), but not my sat ii's (bio 790, math 1 760, math II 740). i rushed them TODAY, but i don't know if that'll matter.

will i get an automatic rejection? :( :( :( :(

i SO fail at life.

ughh

...

hangs myself

I had a 31 ACT and 670, 660 SATIIs and still got in ID.

prolly cause I sent in my scores.

Yeah, you prolly do fail. SAT scores are a little important. Sucks man.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, my supplement essay was lost during the sorting process over in Houston, they emailed me mid January about it so i faxed it to them about 1.5 months late, and i got in ID.

I think, like, 10 trolls just discovered this forum...or one troll with 10 names.

i'm not a troll... :(

i'm so super worried.

panicking

Call the admissions office and explain your situation to them.

Not you, PsychedelicSushi. I meant all the people who suddenly think rice is a huge pot school and say how much you fail. I think you will probably be okay as long as you just sent your scores and call like Mary says.

i wouldnt consider myself a "troll". Im merely a second year trying to let the people applying to rice know the other side. Im sure you havent heard about the meth lab that was found in one of the college basements then?

I've heard about it, but honestly, Rice doesn't have much of a drug scene when compared with other schools. Sure, the stuff is out there, but generally speaking you have to actively search for it. I'm not sure why you think gross exaggerations are particularly helpful.

Opinion from a troll: As long as they get it before they read your app, you'll be fine. After all, most colleges allows you to add an update letter to your file.

I read about a similar situation on another forum. The student was told to have their guidance counselor fax over a copy of the scores with a letter attesting to their validity signed by the counselor.

You should definitely call Admissions and explain your situation ASAP.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that, but it might not be too late. Call now.

Just so you know, rushing scores doesn't do anything. Last year it required the collegeboard to fedex a copy of your scores; today standard submission is digital and almost an instant process. Still, call the AdCom.
