<p>I think they want to hear why you think diversity benefits a university and why you think diversity would contribute to you personally getting a better education. Probably you could talk about your own experiences up to now with diversity and what you learned from it or you could talk about the limitations of your experience up to now in situations lacking diversity. Would be useful also to explore the different ways that groups can be "diverse". They also want you to connect this with issues of "global leadership". </p>

scientific cooperation across cultures
postcolonial literature
different political institutions.</p>
