We live in Asia right now for my husbands work. My son got accepted to Tulane in the beginning of November. After over a month of not receiving any letter/packet here in China, I asked them to resend this information to our home in the States while we were there for the holiday. They did not. Just contacted admissions again, asking if there is any way I can have this sent to China that will not take a month as is typical for mail here. No real answer, just give us the name and birthdate, period.
I think maybe my son is just not meant to go to this school!

Well now I’m told that the admissions counselor might be able to give me some information if I contact him, while I’m waiting another month for the new mail to arrive. Gosh, this is like pulling teeth!

I know it is frustrating and it does sound like admissions may have screwed up some, but at the same time they do try to protect the privacy of the student relative to admissions decisions and related issues. So sometimes it is like pulling teeth, once something goes wrong and/or when mail to places like China is involved.
