That's a good description of Yale "different architecture styles (ex. colonial, mocern, gothic) and had an older, worn in feel". I would say that it reminds me of Cambridge, England because of its closed off quadrangles. The only thing I don't like about it is its' locked doors, go-away feel. Tho we go out to the theater and to great restaurants there and have a good time.

Max is interesting....

LUC's closer to NU than downtown. My g/f goes there and I've never seen "lots of action" - the only thing that is "lots of action" is the traffic cluster**** on Sheridan.

PRINCETON, gorgeous and safe then Pepperdine gorgeous and safe, Dartmouth gorgeous and safe.
Yale- some nice blds. dump area. Harvard- loaded with rats and squirrels, Stanford- pretty and transient no community but PRETTY.
Cornell Pretty and safe but boring middle of nowhere and COLD!

Bryn Mawr College is gorgeous and has a lovely gothic/manor feel.

University of Rochester? I'm going there pretty soon but I'm anxious...I liked all the scenery of the wallpapers I downloaded lol...

If You Like Sunshine Rochester Is Not For You.

I thought Rochester was really pretty when I visited...it was certainly much nicer than I expected.

BirdloverFla,

What's with your habit of capitalizing the first letter of every word? Just curious.

Look for Occidental on ABC March 3

Occidental College's beautiful campus will be featured on ABC this Friday, March 3 at 9:00 p.m. PST as the backdrop for the latest episode of the T.V. series "In Justice," starring Jason O' Mara and Kyle MacLachlan. "In Justice" uses real life stories as inspiration to create legal drama in which clients who are presumed guilty must ultimately be proven innocent.

Patterson Field, Bill Henry Track, Taylor Pool, the tennis courts, Emmons Health and Counseling Center, Branca Patio, the Academic Quad, Coons Rotunda, the bioscience lab, the Campus Safety office and one of the College's off-campus houses were used as locations for this Friday's episode. Occidental has been a movie and television location for more than 85 years.

No question...IU Bloomington is the most beautiful.....

Purdue looks like ****. MU(ohio) was nice because it's a decent size public school but the campus reminded me of a small private school. Nice brick buildings, lots of open grass.

Just visited Indiana U this past week for auditions, I thought it was a very attractive campus. Nice limestone buildings, beautiful student union, plenty of open space, attractive neighborhoods and downtown area near campus. Plus, I think it will be much prettier when the trees leaf out.

The University of San Diego (the private one) and USC were by far the most beautiful campuses I've ever seen. But they have the almost unfair advantage of being in Southern California.

UCLA > USC.

I go to SC and I have to say that it's probably THE most beautiful campus I've seen. In terms of architecture, it's stunning. Plus with the amount of money that this school has, the landscaping is kept up in top shape.
It's truly beautiful.

I took a bunch of pictures last year and upoaded them to http://www.collegecircles.com
There's also pictures of a bunch of other campuses if you're interested.

Hope that helps.

^^^Woooow. My aunt is always raving about USC, and when I was like, the colleges here are prettier (somewhat idly, don't get your panties in a bunch about it), she goes, "Are you /crazy/?". Now I know what she meant! Just looking at the photo of the library was like a huge culture shock. There's nothing around here like that...

That is true.

I read somewhere that Yale pours acid on their buildings to make them look older.

This was freely admitted during a campus tour. It is still quite beautiful, if a bit overwhelming. One of the most impressive campuses. Science buildings are not so hot, however, and were far away from the center of campus and not included in the tour. The tour guide admitted that the poor science majors had a cold, hard slog.

Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, is an incredibly beautiful school! The Colonnade took my breathe away when I saw it in person!!
