Ugliest Campuses and Prettiest Campuses

I thought Lehigh was quite beautiful. Its really hilly yet very compact.

I hear that Princeton is gorgeous.

Pomona!!!!

Prettiest hands down-Indiana U, especially in the fall and spring!!!!!!

Bloomington looks like a beautiful town. and i hear sooooo many people say that IU - bloomington has the prettiest campus in the midwest hand downs.

and i'm going to SUNY Geneseo...it's not an ugly campus. It's probably the only exception to the SUNY schools...
everything is spaced out, and the school is in the Genesee Valley, and there's tons of greenery.

Beautiful--
Wellesley (My home for the next 4 years!)
Colby College
Colgate

So So--
Bowdoin
Columbia
Cornell
Georgetown

Eh--
UPenn
NYU
BU
TCNJ
Bates

How come SO many people have been to IU though? I personally think it's a fine school academically, especially if you want to do business, but it's still not ranked too well on a whole...know what I mean?

Prettiest: Vassar, Williams, Conn College, Amherst, Dartmouth, Columbia, Mt Holyoke, Pepperdine, Middlebury, W&L
Worst: Brandeis, URI, NYU, Temple, Rutgers, USCGA, MIT, Binghamton, UMASS

Any reason you disliked Temple?

jpod- i just found it to be too cold- uninviting, and not kept up. (although, technically i looked at it with the perspective of a grad student, not as an undergrad).

BC is definitely the most beautiful college in America.

BYU is gorgeous!!! In fact, we won the best-landscaped campus award! (I'm not sure who gives that out, but it was posted on our school's website). We also get the nice mountains surrounding us and stuff.

jpod- i just found it to be too cold- uninviting, and not kept up. (although, technically i looked at it with the perspective of a grad student, not as an undergrad).

For weather, ive lived here my whole life so im used to it. I'll let you know if i find it uninviting and not kept up.

i didnt mean cold in terms of weather, more like cold in terms of feeling- not warm and inviting

Sewanee, (The University of the South,) is gorgeous. Gothic, on a plateau, surrounded by 10,000 acres of woods and bluff views.

West Point, Duke, Princeton, Stanford, Dartmouth, ND. LAC's- Williams, Holy Cross, Wellesley, Bowdoin, and Colby.

University of Rochester is a pretty campus as well.

Vassar is one of my favorites. I wanted to go there so badly, but they didn't offer my major

Beautiful: William & Mary, Colby, UVA

Eh: Bowdoin, U of Richmond, Tufts, Georgetown

Cornell is by far the nicest campus I have seen. I have seen UVA, Duke, Wake Forest, Johns Hopkins, Carnegie Mellon, etc....Cornell wins hands down.

Just visited Kenyon College today----BEAUTIFUL!!! The architecture was amazing, the trees, the hill, everything about the campus is absulotely stunning!
