UConn is very nice IMO. Although it's cold up there, most of the buildings at UConn are extremely nice. By nice, I don't mean the old, gothic, ivy-crawling-up-the-side, type of nice. I mean state of the art/outstanding/new buildings. Although some people hate "new" campuses, I absolutely love them. Housing, for the most part, is very nice as well. Food is great as well

Ugly campus: CSUN.

I grew up next to it, and never liked it.

What's CSUN? I'm assuming it's Northridge State or whatver they call it

Google.com ;-)

From the select few I've seen
Prettiest- Syracuse and U of Pittsburgh
Ugliest- Ithaca
Non-existant- Point Park University (it consists of 2 buildings that were old hotels, so you basically live on floors 15-20, your classes are on floor 6, cafeteria's on floor 2, etc)

I've seen or visited many of the schools in Colorado and I have some opinions.

Colorado-Boulder: Gorgeous
Colorado State:Fort Collins: Great city, ugly campus
Air Force Academy: Very pretty
Colorado-Denver: Ugly
Mesa State: UGLY
Colorado School of Mines: Pretty

MIT in general is gross...but I love the new Gehry building.
http://www.kegz.net/blog/eggz/archives/images/gehry_mit.jpg

Georgia Tech with a bad campus? I don't know who told you that, but... oh, who am I fooling? Yeah, it's not the prettiest. What did you expect in downtown ATL, trees and a rolling hills? Hell no.

Most Beautiful: Yale, Princeton, Lewis & Clark, and Kenyon.
Ugliest: Brandeis

what about Stevens Institute?

Ugliest: MIT
Prettiest: Harvard next door.

Well maybe not quite, but whatever.

From what I've seen on campus tours

Ugliest: U of Minnesota
Prettiest: Princeton, Duke, UVA

I heard Coastal Carolina is unreal

I'll cast my vote for the University of Chicago being the prettiest. I must say the Max Palevsky dorms are a bit of a dissapointment, though, in an eye-opening sort of way . . . .

Colgate University is wonderful. :D

uc san diego
university of hawaii

can't go wrong there!

That I've visited...

Prettiest: USC, Pepperdine

OK: Boston College, Georgetown, UCSB (absolutely BEAUTIFUL location, but actual campus is not great)

Ugliest: UMass- Amherst, Brown

No Campus to Speak Of: GW, BU

Add NYU and Parsons to that list.

pepperdine!! and ucsb!!! have an awesome campus..

Vanderbilt is gorgeous!!! So is Connecticut College. I think BU is pretty ugly... maybe that's because the only time I saw it was bike riding through the ally behind it!
