I understand once you get to college it’s a whole new ballpark, but in high school it gets kinda difficult to focus at the end of the year (especially senior year). I’m sure bigshot isn’t quitting, but it gets stressful when you know there’s something better and you’re done with your current situation. I know I’m fed up with high school and just want to be done. UVA awaits and my little school is a total drag so it’s hard to take some of the stuff seriously.

lol You are 100% correct. Your comment definitely makes sense since you are going through the transition as opposed to blindly commenting from outside the situation.

I never said I was failing Calc. I said worse case scenario I would get a D, which is still not a failing grade (F).

Commenting on something I said specifically to another poster, adds nothing to the original question. It would appear that you have nothing to do with your time other then to knit-pick at a thread post.

As a result of humans not being perfect, unless a scan tron is used or a test is graded by someone who does not know the student, certain grades will be subjective. I have talked with college professors who encourage students to get to know their college professors for this very reason. In high school grades are even more so subjective because of the friendship you build with your teachers throughout the year. And I agree calculus is not that hard, I never said I thought it was. And cool TA story buddy.

bigshot3008, I see that you’re excited to go to UVA and such, but come’on bud. You’re acting incredibly arrogant. And this is coming from someone who still says “33” to his friends when we’re arguing intelligence. They’re just trying to help. I see what you were trying to do with the Asian tone, but was that really necessary? Just think before you post brah.

PS – trying to cook a salted steak tonight. Have never used the method before, but I’m pretty excited :D. I’ll be sure to post results.

Yes, I am excited for UVA but asking for a person to stay on topic is not being arrogant. Good luck on your steak brah!

Oh If only I had known that my comment would cause such a mess…

Sigh, charred the steak. Well not charred, but was going for blue and got medium. Tommorow night will be attempt number two.

I think people here are being too harsh. A D may cause UVA to inquire as to what happened, but a C and certainly a B wont cause any stir. The only reason a C would be a problem would be if all your grades dropped. Just avoid the D and you’ll be wahooing in no time.

@UVA or Bust

“third times the charm” but maybe you will perfect it the second time. Once again good luck lol

@Dardyjoe

“wahooing” made me lol , and what you say makes the most sense. They put thought and money into making the “perfect” 2015 class.
