OK. So I just checked my app status on wolverine access and it said that my academic plan is LSA Undeclared. Does that just mean I'm applying as a frosh or does it mean they think I put down Undecided as my choice of major? If that is what they thought- because I clearly remember putting down History - I am scuhroohooed (one of my essays won't make sense)! IS this s/t I should fret over and try to notify them about asap or is this not a big deal and all frosh applicants are undeclared? thx to all who respond!

notify them to be on the safe side....i guess...i sure would....734.764.7433...good luck!

I think mine is like that too- I think I might have put down French or Chemistry, but I ended up with "undeclared."

To me, though, it's better because I still am kind of undecided. Lol.

Go back and look at your submitted application. There is/was a bug in the online application which would reset your selected major(s) to the default value (i.e., blank), and also reset your selection on residential college to default (i.e., yes).

It's supposed to be undecided, because you haven't gone to college yet and declared a major with a department.

Mine was like that, and I emailed them about it - they said not to worry. All applicants to LSA have "Undeclared".

yea. called em today and got the same answer as infinite. phew!

You don't have to mention your intended major. That's used by the administration for statistical purposes and does not affect your chances one way or the other.
