Uh Oh

I just found my signature in the envelope lying around in my house. Should I sent it in now?

yeah. They have a huge backload, i dont think they will raise too much of a fuss, just because your signature envelope was late. Do it soon though.

I say this confidently because MIT still hasnt received my essays, either because they havent processed it due the huge number of applications, or its lost in the mail (international applicant, so possible). If it doesnt reach them in a week, I will have to mail them again, and I guess (from my conversation with an officer out there) that they shall accept it. So a mere signature shouldnt be a hassle. I hope this relieves you of much tension.

wait what signiture envelope!?!??!!? was i supposed to sign something when i applied?

If you used the online Penn app, they have a "Signature page" they want you to print of and sign and send in, so they have a copy of your real signature (as opposed to simply typing it) I don't know if the Common App has the same requirement.
