UH or UT Austin for microbiology?

I am a Texas resident and with my PSAT score I should be a National Merit Finalist, so UH will five me a full-ride as long as I name them as my first choice. But does anyone know which of these two schools is better for studying microbiology?

Bumping this, anyone?

Are you an auto-admit to UT-Austin ? Pay the price and go with UT. Its better.

Yes I am auto-admit. Thank you for the advice

I agree, go with UT Austin. There really is no comparison. UH is not a fantastic school and it seems like a commuter school. I went there once over the weekend and the campus was dead. It has been my experience that UT gives pretty good financial aid as well.

Keep in mind though that if you visit the campus and decide you hate it there, then don’t go. Go to the school that you will be happiest at, and is the best match for you. No point in being miserable throughout college at a place you hate. But still, UT!

Depends on if you can afford UT.
