today after school, i went to my teacher's tutoring session, where she offered to let us look at our previous tests to study for the final, well, the thing is, we only had two hours to study 12 tests and quizzes. i was afraid that i would run out of time so i asked a friend if i could take pics of the test with his camera phone, when i was done with the second to last page, my teacher walked(this was done really conspicuously btw) up to me and accused me of trying to steal her tests and trying to sell them on the internet, which i had absolutely no intention to do, i just wanted to review them at home. well, after she confiscated the phone and took it to the office. i was and still am pretty piissed about this silly situation, which she madei into a huge one. she even accused me of cheating on every one of her tests, which is completely untrue because it is entirely impossible to cheat in her class. her temper really blew up, (maybe its due to her morbid obesity?)and i think the office is going to call me up to the office and have a talk

long story short: i think im innocent and im not sure what to do

LOL her ego is soooooooo impressive.
Anyway, did you try to shut her up and explain the situation to her?
If she just accuses you of cheating/stealing without any concrete proof then you'll be fine. That "steal in order to sell online" statement is... well I don't know. Unless she's some National AP Grader, she must be a self-centered, stupid dumbass.

if you are called up for a "talk" by someone who has higher power than her, just state your case as calmy and clearly as possible.....try not to act condescending and be frank....they should see from your side and realise that her claims are UTTERLY unfounded....

edit: this story is interesting so please keep us updated...

At my school, some teachers recycle tests, and they only show tests on an individual appointment basis, much less allow anyone to photograph them. Maybe your teacher wants the test secure, and got too angry at you recording it.

mm usually when teachers give you a time limit like that it's on purpose, and if you're not allowed to look at it later than that means that you're not SUPPOSED to be able to see it at any other time, i.e. taking pix of it.

i had a teacher do that one year. we could look at old tests, but could not copy them in any way or leave the room with them.

that's pretty dumb. At least your teacher doesn't give you pop tests every couple of days and makes it "okay" by allowing you to work in a group.

Almost all my teachers are like this. They tell us that we can go after school and look at the tests, but we can't make copies/take pictures of them. It's because the teachers use the same tests every year so that's probably why she was acting like that.

But I think if you explain your case calmly, the office people would see that you are innocent.

well, today i was called up to the office and had a talk with the assistant principal. he said that i could possibly be dropped from the class with an F and had to retake the class (i have a 94.0% in her class, im really afraid of wuts going to happen)during the summer. i insisted that i had done nothing wrong, but he said that i would have gotten in trouble anyway for having a cell phone out. after, i had a talk with my counselor and she said she understand my situation and would do her best to resolve the situation. after our talk, i then found out that this situation was my "second offensive"(total bullshet, why?) back in nov, during a precalc test(in the same class), my friend decided to take my test for fun and write some crap on it, but it turned out that we both got in trouble for it.(IM GONA BE CLEAR, I HAD NO FAULT IN THIS) our counselors resolved the problem and said that it was just a joke, but somehow, it was recorded as a cheating offensive, which i have now on my record. all i need to do is tell my counselor that i didnt do anything with the first "offense", so it could get cleared off my record. when the assistant principal discovers that im not a cheater after all, maybe he'll forgive me. well wish me luck

note: please, if you're gona do something like i did, i strongly, strongly suggest that you verify with your teacher, becuz i didnt ask her if i could take pics.

Public schools have a tendency to not hear the kid out because its easier to just punish them and be done with it...

I'd get your parents in on this... the more quickly you are able to push on the offensive, the more public school administrators will buck... they are especially afraid of parents. Talk to your parents. If they try to BS you like its your own fault, they are the first people you want to convince to get on your side... then you gotta have them raise holy hell... In my school, a second cheating offense is a letter grade down, and possible several day suspension...

Too late now, but you should have had a good relationship with your teacher... it shouldn't have escalated from that point...

Tell us how it works out... and good luck...

Awww.... that sucks. Try to bit more secretive. You have to be aware when your actions can have multiple interpretations. I learned this the hard way...

lol. i have basically no problems "dealing" with public school administrators.
just be assertive yet open at the beginning. then move to aggressive openness/implied threats if you completely fail to get what you want.
