<p>General Comments: I hear that the honors programs don't really help you get into grad school or get a better job, but are good to be in as a freshman (meeting people, getting involved, etc.).</p>

<p>For the UHP, they do not really specify the stats you need, however, it is by invitation only. </p>

<p>For the Engineering Honors Program, the website says you need:
Your high school metrics are: SAT of 2050 or an ACT of 32 AND top 5% class rank or 3.8 on a 4.0 Purdue calculated GPA (Math, Science, English grades only). Criteria are reviewed annually and are subject to change. Or a merit scholarship recipient. </p>
