No volunteering at hospitals, no research, no shadowing, etc. I decided on medicine as my career kind of recently so I don’t have anything to show for it on my extracurriculars. I have volunteer hours, am president of a club, am involved, etc. Again, done nothing with medicine.
I am scrambling to finish my application before the deadline so I’m just trying to see if it’s worth writing that 500 word GPPA essay if I’m unlikely to get in without the medicine-related extracurriculars.
