UIC or NYU-Poly Mechanical Engineering

Hi guys, my name is Jose and I'm from Spain and I'm going to study a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with specialty in Mechatronics for fall 2013. At the moment I have been admitted at university of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and I'm waiting for Poly-NYU. In case of admission at NYU as well, I need to take an important decision and I would like you to give good advices.

Could anyone tell me which university is better for that kind of program? I know NY is amazing and most of the people from outside of US want to be there, but I would like to look deeper, I am more interested in things like the chances off getting good jobs after the gratuation or the like, that in the city.

Both have advantages and disadvantages, NY is pretty cool, but has less residences, Chicago is cheaper and that kind of stuff, but I would like you to help me since I am interested in looking for a job or at least ask for an OPT or the like, so I need the best university (between those two) for looking for good jobs since as you will know, the masters degree is quite expensive...

Thanks for helping!
