UIC vs. IU-Kelley Business school.

UIC CBA does have a guaranteed masters of accounting acceptance for undergrad students who meet certain requirements. You’ll get dual credit for some of the courses. I knew several people who went through the program. UIC just doesn’t advertise it.

There have been studies comparing salaries of people who went to more well known schools than those who don’t. The people who went to more well known schools did initially have higher salaries, but after 5-10 years, there was no difference.

Anyway, the University of Illinois system does not finalize its tuition figures until the state budget is finalized. It is not unheard of not to have a finalize tuition until June/July.

My son is in the Kelley LLC. I know he is having a lot of fun at IU (I don’t ask too many questions) but he’s also getting some great networking and career experience - both through the LLC and through the business fraternity he joined.
Since we were living overseas he wasn’t “in state” anywhere so the scholarship was the deciding factor for IU.
