Hello. I'm a senior, I've applied to U of I urbana. I just checked my application status.

Everythign has been recieved except something called a 'certificate of finances' and 'bank statement' . I never even knew we had to send these in. It never mentioned it before.

I AM A PERMANENT RESIDENT IN THE US. I'VE BEEN HERE FOR 16 YEARS (almost all my life) . I have all my papers, i'm not illegal, etc. i'm a citizen of india.

I checked out the forms for the bank statement and the certificate, and at the top it says 'for international students.' i am not an international student! or does U of I just classify me as one? I do not want to send these forms in. I hope you can help me out.

main question: do i have to send these forms in because U of I classifies permanent residents of the US as 'international students'? or have they made a mistake?

**by the way, I live in Indiana, so i'm OOS.
