Well I'm a student from India but a US citizen and I moved here in 6th grade. In 9th and 10th grade I was in CBSE and in the UIUC app it says to only fill in external assessments which means the 10th boards. But on my transcripts it doesn't say what grade I got in the actual SA2. It just says the overall grade in FA (internal), overall grade in SA (SA1 is internal, SA2 is external), and overall grade combining both. Should I enter the SA overall or the overall grade (FA+SA)? Also, in the Education tab I checked grades A-F in the grading scale but now in the courses thing I can't enter A1 or A2 or B1 etc. There's only A+ A A- etc. The only way to put in A1 A2 is to check the numerical grade box but my grades are actually letters, just not A-F( the last grade is actually E2). Which box should I check? There is also a conversion but not to A-F. It gives marks (1-100) to A1,A2,B1,B2 etc to grade point (4-10). At the end of the transcript my CGPA is given(9.8) but I don't know if I should put that in the education section because it doesn't include 11th. 11th doesn't have a GPA on the transcript. So should I mention that GPA in the grades section or just check N/A for GPA? And in 11th grade I moved to the AP state board and this is even more confusing because in the state board the 11th end of year exams are external. Nothing else counts except those. Those are the only grades/marks. But in the example GIF on the UIUC app for Indians it says only fill in 10th boards for courses 9-11. I don't know if this instruction is only for students who continue in CBSE for 11th and 12th or is also applicable to students who switch to state board in 11th because 11th exams are purely external. Again I have that grading scale question for 11th too because in the 11th exams only marks are given and a P or F (pass or fail) but if the total marks of all the exams (out of 470) are above 75% then it's A, between 60-75% then B and so on to D. There's no grades for each subject but marks. Only the grand total is graded from A to D. So should I include 11th in courses 9-11 and if I do should I check the A-F grading scale box or numerical box? Thanks for reading.
