Hello guys, this is my first discussion. I currently am studying in CBSE (indian) curriculum and i wish to pursue my future studies(college) in the U.S.This may sound a bit disturbing -> Here, my freshman year(9th grade) was VERY bad. i barely got any A's. G.P.A -3.1
Next, my freshman year(10th grade) first term was comparatively better than 9th grade as i got away with all B's

Since then ,i never knew the admission criteria in the U.S colleges.

I started working immensely hard in the 2nd term of 10th grade and i successfully got away with almost all A's . G.P.A - 3.8. I am currently in the 11th grade(junior year) and i did extremely well in the first semester.

Surely , a gpa 4.0. All A's. I wish to do engineering in the college at illinois.

i know my 12th grade is going to be excellent, and hence i wish to know how do i explain my decline in the 9th grade marks and 10th grade 1st semester marks to the colleges. i never knew they'd see 9th grade marks too! :(

i guarantee it, my SAT marks will be above 2100 for sure!
extracurriculars :

i am a member of my school's badminton team .

i am a member of the BUP cricket team and was awarded as the player of the match twice in the past years.

i am the orchestra head in the piano club at school.

i can play any music just by listening to it once.

i have won more than 10 1st and 2nd prizes in various art competitions.

i need your help!

please send in some tips so that i may enhance myself and my career. thankyou!

forgot to mention ->also, how would the college mediate between school curriculums such as, the IB curriculum is given more importance in some colleges and provides college credit. the amount of pressure the indian students(cbse) are taking are 10 TIMES more than the american students. same as ib . even ib students don't take much pressure in so. so how will the colleges compare us? shouldnt special or some extra importance be given to us? becaus we're taking and facing EXTREME hardship in our school! ? :( pls..guys help..
